Dianne -- I am speechless! I wish I could fill this page with all the thoughts that immediately flood my heart and soul as I see your post of Dan and his little girl. But the thoughts are enormous and the words to try to express them are inadequate and trite.
One thing I have been SO thankful for over the past few weeks is the willingness with which you and Colleen have shared some of the tougher parts of the scope of your lives in these blogs. You've both used humour and goofiness to bring some balance to the serious and in doing that you've given such a gift to those of us who click in to read!
Thank's for the picture Dianne. Keep posting them please. That's a pretty special picture! Huge story to go with it. Please post your "story" when you can. Please??I know it is "Dannys" and little Ruthie's story also. Please talk with Danny and ask him for permission for you to share the story with your whole family. (that of course includes Carol-Ann)
I grew up in Union Lake, Michigan, just outside of Pontiac, Michigan,a twin, in a family of seven. Two brothers and three of us sisters. As graduation approached, my twin sister and I proceeded to pack our bags to go our separate ways to different Bible colleges. Colleen to Briercrest Bible Institute in Canada and myself to Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There I married the man who became my husband from Fremont, Michigan, and have been married 41years. We have three unique, special, grown children, each with their own different personalities, four wonderful granddaughters, and a very special son-in-law whom we love very much.
Each day the Lord gives us a new, glorious sunrise for waking up to, signifing the beginning of a fresh new day and a breathtaking sunset, signifing the closing down of another day. Sunrise--Sunset
