Fremont Native

My husband is very patient with me during my ups and downs, my comings and goings. His quietness and layedbackness are what help him put up with me. Opposites can attract before marriage but after marriage, those opposites can bring a marriage down. During the rough times of our marriage I realize that the good Lord gave me Chuck for his quietness. He has come home many times feeling my need of just getting away from it all. He puts up with me and I put up with him. Wow is that being honest or what. Do we love each other? Yes in our own ways we do.

The Age Of Confusion

I do believe the pictures are backwards. In your minds eye please see the ice picture down underneath the other for the illusion of the long season wait.

Beach Quietness

Come with me to the Beach for an evening of calm serenity. All that is required is one large blanket and a bottle of pepsi. The sound of the lapping of water up onto the sandy beach and the smell of warm, misty air will undo the heavyness of your days load. My place of quiet escape is to Grand Haven, Michigan. The only problem is this place is only good for the duration of the warm weather. Then the long wait for the next season to come.

The Three Musketeers Posted by Hello

Close Knit

One small bedroom which contained two double beds, two dressers, and a very narrow walk isle from one point to the other. I remember it well. As the ceiling light was turned off, our talk would grow very quiet so as not to let mom and dad hear us talking . We would quietly check amoung us who's turn it was for a wonderful, soothing back rub. The rubber would climb under the covers with the sister who's turn it was and begin . As we would lay there, giggles would soon be heard coming from down the hallway for a short while and come to a stop and all would go quiet in the Smith household. A closeness amoung us girls grew in that small bedroom that would continue into our adult years. I love my sisters very much and also realize the three of us should have actually been triplets. Only one year between us but now many miles have come between us and our family homes. Jeannie and Colleen you are loved. The miles are long but the love in our hearts are just the same as it was back in our small bedroom on Naylor Street. In Love Heart Eyes

A Fresh New Beginning

Isn't it wonderful the good Lord gives each one of us a fresh new beginning each morning. As that ole rooster crows out his cock a doodle doo and our eyelids flutter open.Of course that only happens down on the farm and the rest of us have that dreaded alarm clock beeping loudly. The tootsies touch the floor and our bodies end up in an upright position to begin their slow walk out of our warm, cozy, quiet bedrooms.Of course as the day wears on,that ole stew pot goes on the stove and dat ole Wascal Rabbit that Drake brought in begins the dinner preparation.Am I just Off My Rocker singing Carols or what? Sunset begins descending once more on another close of a day.

Computer Time With God?

Question? Since when has a computer screen become a Bible? Am I wrong with knowing the Bible is the Word of God, and an intimate time with the Lord, reading your devotions, should be sitting quietly with the Word of God in your hands? Since when does the devotions become diminished with sitting in front of a computer screen along with all your other email? The computer has presidence over the family it seems. There is enough problem with outside things taking over the family--do we actually need to include the computer with devotions? Give me feedback. Am I wrong in my heartwrenching question?
