Fun in Jeannie's Pool

Oh what fun us three girls had in California at Jeannie's pool.We would sit and watch for the sun to come over her pool,rush to get our coffee cups and then bask in the sun.Of coarse a dip was always in order.

My new puppy,Sparky with my older baby,Misty May.This picture was taken when we first had Sparky.I am not sure when this will happen again.The cats aren't making it easy lately for Sparky to get too close or play with them.

Annette, the girls and I, took our annual November trip to Frankenmuth,this time with Emma joining us.Ruthann was invited to a birthday party at a friends house and accepted it instead of being with us.We had a wonderful time with a night over in a hotel.We love looking for Christmas onaments in the largest Christmas shop ever,taking a carriage ride,having pizza,and walking the christmas lit street,shoppies.What fun we have.

Ruthann and Bryan put the Christmas tree ornaments on the tree with me working on the train below.Our train worked great until we begin putting Christmas presents under it that kept getting dropped off .

This last Holloween we took Bryan,Sam,ourselves and Ruthann down to Cedar Point for the Holloween rides.Bryan got me to go  on some thriller rides.He just laughed at my terrifying screams.We had a wonderful two nights away with this time.We all had a wonderful time.

Sparky

A Christmas Blessing has come to the Strube household.He is my Christmas gift this season from Chuckles.Of course we are trying to get used to finding out the best routine for training.I don't seem to be getting alot done right now.We are crate training and everyone is pitching in on taking him outside for peepee and spending time while he plays on the living room floor.He is a very playful little guy,so the only time I seem to be able to  cuddle him for awhile in my arms or lap is when he is winding down and getting tired.Anyone want to take a turn with babysitting him? Ruthann is just loving him up.Bryan and I went to search him out on Tuesday of a week and a half ago.He is a Shitshu Maltize and  was just shy of 8 weeks old.Merry Christmas to one and all this Holiday Season.

Party Time

Kids just love to have fun on Holloween.I remember when I was growing up back in Union Lake,Michigan,coming home from our school party.We could not wait to get into our costumes for the evening out trick or treating.Mom and Dad would make us sit at the table until we had eaten our dinner and they had decided,yes you may get down and go get dressed up.We would have asked many times,can we go yet? Mom always waited patiently to let us know when,even though we waited anxiously for the word,frustratedly.Out the door we flew.Back then,we would sometimes sneek a bar of soap.Now what on earth would soap be used for?I also remember when each of us became just alittle too old for dressing up and going to get our candy.What saddness came in those times.It happens to all kids sooner or later.Of course most kids want it to be much later.Bryan still wants to go take Ruthann out so he can get in on some candy.Annette and Earl with their girls take Ruthie with them most of the time back into our old neighborhood to trick or treat.Bryan ends up having to work normally.Our love to all and to all a good night.

Happy belated 4th of July

Happy Visit but Sad Visit

Last October in Florida.

Last October when I went down to Bradenton,Florida,I received the call from Dad.Dianne,Uncle Emery has just passed away.Sandy and I had just had a beautiful time down on one of the main beaches for the night with of coarse a beautiful sunset.My heart immediately sank in sadness.I was able to go and have just a short visit with Aunt Winona and Jill as Sandy and I were on our upward treck back to Michigan.It was a good visit but a sad visit.She has now lost her loving partner as Dad lost his loving partner,our wonderful mom in 2003.She needs to be remembered in prayers.These are a few pictures I snapped before I left.
