Linus and Buffy

Double Joy or Double Trouble? You take the good with the bad right? Love conquers all! As Bryan and I we're going to the different places to see kitties we kept getting the same comment,take a pair its better because they can be each other's companion.Right!Each other's companion in climbing up my artificial trees after each other,racing over your sleeping body chasing each other,deciding to wrestle each other right at your legs while you are trying to go to sleep.Between their razor sharp paws and their sharp edged kitty teeth its like living with Edward Scissorhands.Remember that movie? Actually we comtemplated it at Pet Smart Vickie's Pet Connection it was adopt one receive a second one free for 75.00.They were already fixed and had all but their last booster and had been dewormed ect.We walked out and I realized that Bryan had been thinking of another kitty since having his pet,Cash put down a year and a half ago.His ended up going down within a week of mine going down.It was very hard on both of us but we got through it.I told him we could split the cost of the one between us and we would each have our kitty again.Of course I didn't realize when we got the kitties home mine had developed a kitty cold with has ended up with two vet bills and a couple more to boot.So much for the free kitty.You know what though?It's amazing how fast you fall in love with your animals once you have them in your home.Linus seems to finally be conquering his kitty cold and Buffy doesn't seem to be letting out any little kitty sneezes.Bryan's couldn't suit him any better as well as Linus for me.Linus is the biggest cuddler for me and Bryan's is the most playful of the two.Buffy has alittle gotee under his chin and is mink soft with his light tan fur.Linus is alittle smaller is stature but is beautiful with his white body and has the cuddlieness I wanted along with being alittle playful.Bryan and I have enjoyed watching them play like the dickens along with laying cuddled togeather with their little legs cuddled over the other suddenly deciding to bath the other.Sometimes you want to say get a room.I see now why they incourage you to get a pair but this has become a sad note with us because when Bryan moves back in with Sam shortly they will be splitting up.What have we done? Of course Buffy will become friends with Sam's dog CJ.It may take alittle from Buffy to learn to put up becoming a dog toy for awhile until he learns to run,run real fast to escape when needed.As Bryan goes to his third shift job at night,yep the two kitties become my bedroom kitties and boy do those little teeth and claws slip through blankets into the skin easily.Their playfulness gets rather rough until this person trys to get them to soften it up.Does it work?Not.Its like having a newborn infant to keep waking up to for awhile until they tire out and cuddle in only to have you forget their there and you roll over on them crushing them for a moment until you reach down and kiss them and tell them your sorry.Back to semiconcious sleep you go for the rest of your early morning until you hear Bryan come in early and they both perk up and race out of the room to meet him.Then you quickly close your door and breath a sigh of relief for alittle while until RuthAnn rouses hopefully not for alittle while.Is it worth it?Yep you bet it is.They are now a part of you and you love them no matter what else happens.Unconditional Love.The kind our Heavenly Father gives us that we most of the time don't deserve.Taking the good with the bad and hanging on,thats what its all about.
